Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday we visited the Great Plains Zoo here in Sioux Falls which, in spite of being oppressively hot, was still a wonderful amount of fun. And of course, I took upwards of 400 photos, and of course, only about half of them were even remotely worth sharing.

There's still a lot of construction going on at the zoo, and a number of animals weren't in their exhibits/pen, but it was still a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

Ren Fest!

It wasn't the only chain mail bikini of the day, but it was the first - and the only one I managed to get a photo of.



More Scottish games! Which involves dudes flinging more heavy shit! Caber (cabre?) tossing, I'm told, is the oldest recorded sport, dating back to either 4000 BC, or just back 4000 years. I fail to remember which, as the mead was kicking in right about then.
